It is not uncommon for people using certain types of chemotherapy to develop tingling, burning and/or numbness or high sensitivity, usually beginning in their fingers and toes or hands and feet. Some meetings will feature educational topics such as nutrition and acupuncture (may help reduce severity of symptoms), falls risk/balance awareness, and information on physical therapy/occupational therapy. January 22, 2014 (Guest Speaker) - UCSF Researcher describes study on Chemo-Induced Neuropathy and evaluation for photon stimulation for treatment. February 12, 2014 (Guest Speaker) - Occupational Therapy for Neuropathy by Norma Stadler, OTR/L, MHA.
