Gentle Yoga for Gynecological and Breast Cancer Surviors
Hosted by the WHRC, this series is intended to teach a gentle yoga practice to support overall wellness and healing process. Each sequence will include basic principles of movement, alignment and breathing awareness. No drop-ins.

Patricia P. Jiron started practicing yoga in 1998 while working as a professional modern dancer. She received her yoga certification from the Iyengar based Piedmont Studies Program in Oakland and has received extensive training in the graduate program at the Yoga Room in Berkeley with teachers Donald Moyer and Mary Lou Weprin. She has been teaching yoga to all ages and levels since 2000 and brings more than 25 years of exploring the ways of the body to her practice. In addition to teaching Iyengar inspired and Hatha yoga Patricia still teaches Modern dance to adults and children and practices massage therapy and Vipassana meditation.
