Sutter Health Construction Projects
Web Cams Track $2 Billion Hospital Construction Effort
Through construction site cameras, consumers can watch progress of one of the largest hospital building programs ever undertaken in Northern California. Five major hospital construction projects – exceeding $2 billion – are part of an unprecedented capital investment by the not-for-profit Sutter Health network. The projects represent Sutter’s commitment to meeting California’s seismic regulations and the growing health care needs of the communities it serves. Sutter Health has more critical seismic building obligations than any other health care organization in California.
Since 2000 Sutter Health has invested more than $7 billion to build, replace and improve dozens of hospitals and physician care centers throughout Northern California, and to install lifesaving technologies including an electronic health record.
