Physician Foundation at California Pacific Medical Center and Sutter Medical Foundation North Bay Combine to Form Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation
220+ Member Physician Group Serves San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma and Lake Counties
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., August 31, 2009) - Physician Foundation at California Pacific Medical Center and Sutter Medical Foundation North Bay today announced their merger and new operating name, Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation, effective September 1, 2009.
Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation is comprised of primary care and specialist physicians who manage complex medical cases. Its 226 doctors are dedicated to excellent patient care, combining the latest in medical knowledge and technology with a personal commitment to their patients. Sutter Pacific doctors deliver health care services in San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma and Lake Counties, with additional outreach locations throughout Northern California. The relationship between Sutter Pacific physicians and local Sutter Health facilities helps link both doctors and patients with hospital services, enabling the highest quality care delivery.
The two medical foundations are joining forces to create the capability for seamless delivery of health care services throughout the West Bay and Northern California. The combined expertise and infrastructure of Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation will allow for more effective and efficient medical care to be delivered to patients in the region.
