Sutter Health’s www.MyLifeStages.org Wins Gold for Putting Quality Health Care at Your Fingertips

SACRAMENTO, Calif., December 17, 2009 - MyLifeStages.org, Sutter Health’s Web portal and membership program especially for women, received a gold award for “Best Interactive [Web] Site” from the prestigious eHealthcare Leadership Awards.

The honor, the highest in the category, recognizes MyLifeStages for its interactive features and technologies: providing health information, health evaluations; establishing ongoing relationships via personal Web pages, e-newsletters, e-mail alerts and facilitating community groups. An independent panel of judges familiar with health care and the Internet evaluated 1,100 entries from across the nation, ultimately selecting our network site as a winner.

Sutter Health physician organizations and hospitals created MyLifeStages to respond to what women want from a health care Web site – convenience, reliability and one-source information. This innovative project delivers customizable, interactive content based on each woman’s geography and health interests. It includes expert blogs, an ask the expert feature where consumers can ask questions of Sutter physicians and other health professionals, health risk assessments, tools, quizzes, a robust health and medical library and classes and other local events.
