Introduction to Acupuncture Through Community Sessions at Sutter Lakeside Hospital Integrative Healing House
Lakeport, Calif., June 25, 2009 - Every Wednesday from 3-6pm community members get a chance to receive acupuncture treatments at the discounted price of $25. Instead of lying down on a massage table, participants will sit upright in cozy armchairs while receiving acupuncture simultaneously with a few other people. Each evening is limited to 10 participants.
Chinese reflexology, hand, and ear acupuncture will be utilized to treat areas that can be reached with the client sitting in an upright position. The treatment sessions will last approximately 45 minutes.
Clients are asked to wear loose and comfortable clothing. Preferably, wear pants or skirts that can be pulled up to about knee level and tops that can expose arms and shoulders if needed.
