Sutter Health Celebrates Nurses During National Nurses Week
During National Nurses Week (May 6-12), Sutter Health celebrates the compassionate commitment of nurses within Sutter Health and throughout the nation to care for patients and their families.
Sutter Health commits to providing its nurses and all employees with an exceptional, supportive work experience where their skills and abilities are recognized and rewarded. The not-for-profit network’s retention rates for registered nurses within acute care facilities and its Sutter VNA & Hospice rank better than the California average. Sutter’s retention rates for 2009 stood at 95 percent compared to 92 percent statewide, as reported by the California Hospital Association.
