Sutter Health and March of Dimes
Working Together for Babies
SACRAMENTO, Calif. March 26, 2010 - Thanks to the generosity and hard work of physicians, nurses and employees, Sutter Health has raised more than $4.2 million since 1998 to support the March of Dimes. Funds advance lifesaving research and programs so that every parent will know the joy of a healthy newborn.
Seventy-eight percent of every dollar raised goes directly to support the mission of the March of Dimes. Sutter Health is not only the top fundraising team for March of Dimes in Northern California but the top health care fundraising team in the nation.
Sutter’s work with the March of Dimes is part of a broad commitment to patients and communities. As a part of Sutter Health’s mission, the not-for-profit network invests millions back into its communities to improve facilities, add services and care for those without health insurance.
