Sutter Health’s 6 Words Contest:
How do YOU make a difference at work?

We asked physicians, employees and volunteers from across the Sutter Health system to describe in 6 words (no more, no less): How they make a difference at work. More than 6,000 people submitted entries, ranging from heartwarming to humorous in both individual and team categories.

Watch the Six Words video, which launched the contest in September 2009.

Nearly 5,000 employees across the Sutter Health system selected the following 6 Words winners through an online voting survey:

~ A gentle touch is powerful medicine. (Individual category)
Julie Davies, R.N., Charge Nurse, Surgical Unit
Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital

~ My hands serve. My heart cares. (Team category)
Nutrition & Food Services Department, Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento
Submitted by David Sternagle on behalf of department staff (*see names below)

Congratulations to our winners!
