Modern Healthcare magazine rated Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center of Santa Cruz and Sutter Davis Hospital two of the “Best Places to Work in Healthcare.” Out of the 100 national health care organizations receiving this honor, our affiliated hospitals were among just six California health care organizations recognized.

Making a Difference for Patients
More than 6,000 entries poured in to Sutter Health’s 6 Words contest – “How Do You Make a Difference at Work?” Through a systemwide vote, employees choose the winners: “A gentle touch is powerful medicine” (individual category) and “My hands serve. My heart cares.” (team category).
