Eleven Sutter Health-affiliated hospitals received a "Certificate of Excellence" from the California Hospital Assessment and Reporting Task Force (CHART). These hospitals were:
Sutter-affiliated California Pacific Medical Center (Davies campus) and Mills-Peninsula Health Services ranked among the top hospitals in the nation for quality patient care. The rating came from The Leapfrog Group, a consortium of large employers that challenges health care providers to make significant "leaps" in health care safety, quality and customer value.
The Integrated Healthcare Association honored several Sutter Medical Network physician organizations as Top Performers. Palo Alto Medical Foundation, Sutter West Medical Group and Sutter Medical Group were rated among the top 20 percent of physician organizations in California for quality care and patient satisfaction. Sutter Gould Medical Foundation was also recognized for showing the most significant improvement.
