    Central Valley

    Memorial Medical Center, Modesto

    A Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), designated by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Program highlights:
    • Completed more than 6,000 bariatric procedures.
    • Incorporates surgical, medical, nutritional and behavioral evaluations, education and ongoing support.

    Sutter Weight Management Institute

    The first and only comprehensive weight management program in the greater Sacramento region that combines both medical and surgical weight loss options. Program highlights:
    • Team includes bariatric surgeons, nurse coordinators, dietitians, behavioral psychologists, behavioral educators, exercise physiologists, and insurance coordinators.

    Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation & California Pacific Medical Center

    Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation bariatric surgeon Gregg Jossart, M.D., along with California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco have earned the ASMBS Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence designation. Program highlights:
    • Performing approximately 70 bariatric surgeries a year.
