    Title: A Prospective, Open-label Study of the Structure and Function of the Retina in Adult Patients with Refractory Complex Partial Seizures Treated with Vigabatrin (Sabril®) (Lundbeck, Inc., Protocol 13098A)Opens in a new window external site
    strong>Description: The purpose of the study is to evaluate the change in visual fields by means of automated static perimetry and to evaluate the change in retinal structure by means of spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) in adult patients with refractory complex partial seizures (CPS) being treated with vigabatrin (Sabril®).

    Eligibility:  Medically refractory complex partial seizures (min 2 or more/month), no pre-existing ocular disease.

    Title: A Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Multicenter, Parallel-group Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Brivaracetam in Subjects (≥16 to 80 years old) with Partial Onset Seizures (Schwarz Biosciences, Inc. Protocol N01358) Opens in a new window external site
    Description: This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of brivaracetam at doses of 100 and 200mg/day compared to placebo as adjunctive treatment in adult focal epilepsy subjects with partial onset seizures not fully controlled despite current treatment with 1 or 2 concomitant antiepileptic drugs.

    Description: This is a Phase 3, open label, long term follow-up (LTFU), multicenter, noncomparative, and single arm study of brivaracetam (BRV).
