DARIAN HARRIS: Expanding access to care
is something we're really excited about, certainly locally
and across Sutter Health.
DINEEN GREER: When we partner with trusted community partners,
it really helps us be able to make a larger impact.
TIM STEPHENS: It's life-changing for the community,
and it's life-changing at a personal level.
And when you change one life at a time,
you change the community.
KORRINNE YURICK: So this is our Mobile Medical Van.
Our main exam room is in the front here.
So your vital signs are good.
Any allergies?
What we're able to do through mobile and street medicine
is bring the medical care closer to their lived environment
and treat them before the problem becomes
so great that they need to go to the emergency room.
There's a lot of chaos, but it's like fun chaos.
MIKKE LOR: To have care on campus
meant that I could have affordable and accessible health
care while not losing too much time on my education.
KAYLA ALEXANDER: We talk about meeting people where they're at.
Well, this is literally what we're doing.
We're bringing the clinic right to the school.
BALDEEP SINGH: The big thing that we're trying to do
is provide primary and secondary care,
preventing the progression of illness.
DOLORES PEREZ: This is the one little jewel
in this county that keeps our population healthy and working
and with their dignity up.
JOANNA SCALES: Food can be our enemy or our friend.
And through the Healthy Living with Diabetes education program,
I've been able to make better choices.
CLAUDIA PACHECO: People come in with high levels of glucose.
Six months later, they're at normal ranges.
KANWARPAL DHALIWAL: We see young people
coming in, getting evicted at, risk of becoming homeless.
EDDY CHACON: Here at Ryse, young people
get to learn how to prep for interviews, do public speaking,
resume building.
We actually try to spark their mind.
DANA BUCHANAN: Navigators onsite at SMMC
has been truly instrumental.
LOURDES PRECIADO: I have access to the Golden Valley
appointments, so they'll have it before they get
discharged from the hospital.
DANA BUCHANAN: Being able to connect our most vulnerable
patients to the care that they need outside of the hospital
is really the key to keeping our patients healthy.
KELLY BRENK: One of the things that we
love about these partnerships is that our employees are actually
able to go out and give back.
GINO PATRIZIO: Being a not-for-profit
is core to who we are.
And days like this really exemplify
what it means for us to be in service to our communities.
CHRISTINA OH: What I love about working with our teams is
that they want to bring care outside
of the walls of our hospitals and clinics
through volunteering.
DARIAN HARRIS: When I think about Together We Give,
that provides a vehicle for our caregivers
to get connected and share their passion in the community
in a different way.
TAMARA POWERS: Together We Give is an opportunity for all
of our teams to come together and to give back
to the community that we serve.
When we create a healthier community,
we create healthier patients.
