Palo Alto Medical Foundation is seeking a BC or BE psychiatrist to join our well-established Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at our Fremont Center.

We are looking for ONE ADULT part-time PSYCHIATRIST to join a team of well trained and experienced psychiatrists, LCSWs, and MFTs. This position includes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, shared medical appointments, as well as individual and group psychotherapy. Child and Adolescent experience is preferred.

Fremont is located at the base of the East Bay hills, 40 miles from San Francisco and 70 miles from the Napa Valley. Historically Fremont is made up of 5 smaller communities, one of them being Niles, home of the first motion picture company and filmed their famous silent movies on location. Excellent opportunity for a Psychiatrist to join Gould Medical Group, Inc., a 269 member multi-specialty group providing services for residents in Stanislaus and San Joaquin communities for over 50 years. The incoming Psychiatrist would be the Founding Department Member with strong referrals for Clinical Psychiatry Practice from the other physicians within the group. The position is primarily out-patient with minimal call and will consist of consultation and therapy with only occasional in-patient consultation. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to the development of Gould's Behavioral Health services.
