This busy multi-physician Pulmonary/Critical Care organization is seeking several new physicians to staff an expanded critical care service. The service is supported by two well established groups in a joint cooperation to serve the needs of intensive care in two hospitals in Berkeley and Oakland. The work involves inpatient intensive care, inpatient pulmonary consults, outpatient pulmonary medicine, and potential for sleep medicine. You will receive a competitive salary with benefits.

Alta Bates Summit Medical Center (ABSMC):
ABSMC is a private, not-for-profit multi-campus acute care medical center with more than 1000 beds, approximately 5,000 employees, and 1000 active physicians. Our Centers of Excellence include Women's and Infants (featuring a Level III Newborn ICU), Cardiovascular, Orthopedics, and Oncology. Plans are in place for the construction of a complete outpatient services center in Santa Rosa (anticipated opening early 2010) which will include ambulatory surgery, endoscopy, imaging, laboratory and medical offices.
