    Peninsula Medical Clinic has full time opportunities available for experienced BC/BE Urgent Care physicians to join our growing medical group in our medical center. Physician candidate must have at least five years experience working in an Urgent Care setting.

    This new Urgent Care Center will provide prompt, personal care for urgent but non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Many people choose to become our patients after receiving excellent care in a PAMF Urgent Care Center. The Burlingame Urgent Care Center is near the Mills-Peninsula Hospital Emergency department, the go-to hospital for San Francisco International Airport.

    This position is ideal for a physician seeking a healthy balance between a successful practice and a terrific lifestyle. Our Urgent Care physicians have flexible hours, no in-basket management, and less pressure than that of a traditional emergency department. Physicians and support staff work in a collaborative care team environment, supported by various specialties, as well as clinic ancillary services.

The incoming candidate will be expected to manage patients with acute illnesses, minor traumas (lacerations, fractures), minor surgeries (joint injections, I&D), IV rehydration and reading EKGs.
