    Palo Alto Medical Foundation has an opportunity for a BE/BC fellowship-trained Geriatrician to join our new practice in Fremont, CA. Applicants should have a current California Medical License or able to obtain a California Medical License, DEA Certificate and eligibility to participate in Medical/Medicare.

    Our new colleague will provide patient care at partnering skilled nursing facilities providing post-acute and long-term patient care. Physician will also have the opportunity to do consultation in our outpatient clinic. This practice will be part of a large multi-site geriatric medicine department with experienced mentorship and extensive track record in program building.

    Palo Alto Medical Foundation has a full time opportunity for a BE/BC fellowship-trained Geriatrician (IM or FP) to join our growing Geriatric Medicine Department in Los Gatos, California. Applicants should have a current California Medical License or able to obtain a California Medical License, DEA Certificate and eligibility to participate in Medical/Medicare. This physician will work closely with our interdisciplinary team such as LVNs, MAs, skilled nursing facility coordinators, and office manager to provide exceptional patient care.

    Our newer colleagues will work alongside us and provide post-acute and long-term patient care at our partnering skilled nursing facilities. Physician will also have an opportunity to develop a Geriatrics consultation clinic as well as implement our Geriatric Medicine program in our Los Gatos campus.

    Our group is passionate about supporting patients throughout the continuum of care. In addition, we are all very involved in quality improvement and research projects that have both local and national impact and this physician will have an opportunity to be involved in these projects.

    Community Information
    Mountain View is located less than 40 miles from San
    Francisco and 36 miles from Santa Cruz. The city was named
    because of the spectacular view of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
    Historically the town began as a stage stop on the route
    between San Francisco and San Jose known today as El Camino
    Real (Avenue of the Missions).
    The city is located in the heart of the Silicon Valley.
    Downtown contains 4 blocks of restaurants and shops that
    house all cuisines and many different shopping experiences.
    Castro Street is a pedestrian friendly downtown area.
    Entertainment is part of the Mountain View culture. You can
    find many attractions such as the Shoreline Amphitheatre
    Park, Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts and the
    Computer History Museum.
