    Exceptional opportunity available for BC/BE Pediatric Pulmonologist to join a well-respected private practice in Sacramento, California. We are seeking a dedicated medical professional with a high degree of honesty, loyalty and integrity that will use his/her talents and enthusiasm to work diligently to meet and achieve our organizational goals and objectives.

    This practice serves a population from infants to young adulthood and was established in 1979 with three turn-key office locations in Sacramento, Roseville and Folsom.

    This opportunity also includes direct hospital-based inpatient and outpatient care, as well as options to participate in Resident-teaching, clinical trials and home ventilation visits. The position will have exposure and opportunity to collaborate with a network of outstanding sub-specialists ranging from pediatric intensivists, neonatologists, pediatric cardiologists, surgeons, neurologists, endocrinologists and infectious disease experts.

    The practice manages patients with a variety or respiratory disorders, including all acute and chronic lung diseases, ventilatory muscle weakness, and disorders of control of breathing. In addition, there is a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-approved center and Sleep Lab with twelve beds to assist in providing diagnosis and care to our patients.

    Call is approximately zero to three calls per night and shared with the other pediatric pulmonary physician in the practice. Pediatric intensivists at the local tertiary level children's hospital provide the hospital-based night call. Weekend call coverage requires approximately five to ten calls and can be managed from any location, e.g., outside the city or state. Estimated coverage would be two nights/week and one in four of weekends. Call includes hospital rounds during the day. This opportunity offers competitive compensation predicated on experience, with full benefits and malpractice coverage. Benefit coverage includes major medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, LTD, STD and Long Term Care plans beginning the first of the month following date of employment. Eligibility to participate in a 401(k) Profit Sharing/Defined Benefit Pension Plan after completion of one year of service.
