    Opportunity Information
    Sutter Center for Psychiatry, the only not-for-profit psychiatric hospital in the Sacramento region, is part of the largest integrative health care system in Northern California.

    We are interested in adding the best and the brightest to our stellar physician team. As friendly and collegial work atmosphere is valued, there is minimal physician turnover, but with the expansion of our services, we have new opportunities for select individuals. As the hospital and physicians are partnered to provide the highest standards of care, our physicians are supported through strong multi-disciplinary team support. As an independent practitioner, physicians have maximal control over work scheduling which provides unmatched work-life balance. For motivated individuals with leadership potential, there are opportunities for advancement including medical directorships.

    We provide services for children and adults including:
    -Acute Inpatient Services
    -Partial Hospital Program
    -Intensive Outpatient Program
    -Consultation-Liaison Services
    We also provide interventional procedures including:
    -Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)
    -Vagus Nerve Stimulation Therapy (VNS)
    -Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS in development)
