Location: Sacramento, CA Sutter Medical Group Opportunity Information Who perform a wide range of procedures and have an active clinical practice. The applicant will provide diagnostic and therapeutic patient care before, during and after procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Duties may include, but are not limited to, history and physical examination, sedation assessment, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic studies/imaging, patient education of procedures risks, benefits and alternatives, consultations with patients and medical team, maintaining patient profiles and longitudinal care of interventional oncology and other interventional radiology patients, post-procedure management, inpatient rounding, performing interventional procedures, such as, paracentesis, thoracetesis, fluoroscopic procedures such as PICC Line insertion and central venous access. Ideal candidate should be a self-starter, who is eager and willing to learn, with a charismatic personality. Applicant must also be comfortable with Electronic Medical Records. One year experience in Interventional Radiology with a Fluoroscopy License preferred. However, all candidates will be considered with the appropriate training and/or background. Applicant must be Nationally Certified and eligible for a California License.
