I feel strongly that my patients should be active participants in their health and I work hard to help my patients make informed decisions about their health care. When it comes to prenatal care and birth, I strive to make the woman's experience as non-interventionist and safe as possible. Having a baby is one of the most special events in a woman's life and I try to make it a positive experience even in high-risk or difficult situations. When it comes to GYN problems, especially those requiring surgery, I make sure my patient understands all her options so she can decide what is best for her. I am proud to state that I was selected as the 2012 Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods Physician of the Year.
