My philosphy of care begins with the patient. A doctor's job is to listen. A great mentor once told me, "2 ears one mouth," meaning that we should listen more than speak. The most vital information often does not come from high tech imaging or special lab tests; the history from the patient is what matters the most. My goal is to listen closely and provide the most culturally competent, patient-centered care that I can.
