    Flu Vaccinations

    The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that a yearly seasonal flu vaccine as the first and most important steps in protecting against seasonal flu.

    Sutter Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) & Hospice offers flu shots and pneumonia shots at convenient local sites, in September, October, November, and December. If provided proof of your enrollment in Medicare Part B, we are able to bill Medicare for the cost of the flu vaccination.

    Resources

    Currently, the CDC recommends that health care workers, pregnant women, caregivers of children under 6 months, people 6 months – 24 years, and adults 25 – 64 years with chronic health conditions be vaccinated first.
