    • Drink more water and juices. Children may enjoy sucking on ice chips or flavored ice treats, such as Popsicles.
    • Take lukewarm sponge baths.
    • Dress lightly and avoid wrapping up in warm blankets.
    • Take medicine to reduce fever as needed. Acetaminophen (such as Tylenol) or ibuprofen (such as Advil) can help reduce fever. Follow the package instructions carefully.
