What Increases Your Risk
Children who develop at a slower rate than other children during the first 3 years of life have an increased likelihood of Reference wetting the bed Opens New Window. Boys tend to develop more slowly, so they are more likely than girls to wet the bed.
A child may inherit the tendency to wet the bed.
