5-Alpha Reductase Inhibitors for Prostatitis
Side Effects
Side effects may include:
- Decreased sex drive.
- Reduced ejaculatory volume.
- Difficulty getting an erection.
- Breast tenderness or enlargement.
It is possible that 5-alpha reductase inhibitors are linked to an increased risk for Reference high-grade Opens New Window prostate cancers. But more research is needed.
