How Well It Works
Up to 90% of women who use danazol report improvement in symptoms of endometriosis.Reference 1 Relief is likely to be noticeable within a few months after starting treatment. Pain relief typically lasts for 6 to 12 months after stopping treatment.
Like all hormone therapies and surgery for endometriosis, danazol does not cure the disease.
