In 2022, Sutter Health conducted community health needs assessments (CHNA) to identify the significant health needs in the communities we serve.

The CHNAs were used to develop Sutter's 2022 – 2024 implementation strategies, plans that demonstrate how our hospitals will work to address the significant health needs in our communities.

The CHNAs and implementation strategies were used to develop the 2022 – 2024 community benefit plans. The plans are submitted to the Department of Health Care Access and Information (formerly OSHPD) and report on annual community benefit activities including program impact and community benefit financials.
