Community Activities
During my residency, I worked as an examiner with the Sutter Sacramento Bridging Evidence, Access and Resources (BEAR) Program for adult and pediatric victims of sexual assault as well as kids entering the foster care system. I also taught physical examination and reasoning skills to Sacramento high school students in a pre-health professions track. I hope to continue similar activities in the Bay Area.
Personal Interests
I've visited Morocco, Jordan, Vietnam, Peru and many countries in Europe. I enjoy eating my husband’s delicious home-cooked meals and spending time with my daughter.
Philosophy of Care
I believe that my role as a Family Doctor is one of an advocate, teacher, and friend. Being a doctor is a privilege and great responsibility, and I relish the relationships created with my patients from childhood to adulthood. I view medicine as an art, one in which I must faithfully provide information, guidance, and solace in a hectic healthcare system and world. I strive to do this while always respecting my patients’ autonomy and worldview, thus creating a partnership that allows people to obtain and maintain their best physical and mental health.
