This class is led by one of our knowledgeable Certified Lactation Educators to help prepare the nursing person and their partner in the how-to of breastfeeding. The first skill your newborn will learn is breastfeeding. Class includes getting started at the hospital and continuing at home, the importance of skin-to-skin contact, feeding cues, avoiding problems that may complicate your experience, proper latching onto the breast, tips on how your partner can help you, and physical and emotional adjustments for the breastfeeding family. Partner is welcome and encouraged to attend. Early registration is advised, this is a very popular class!

Is a free class available to any SutterSacramento, Roseville or Davis patient that has already attended either a touror class and were left with a question and do not who or where to ask. This isa mini session for questions and answers, this is not a tour or topicspecific class, just a quick hour to ask any questions that you mayhave not had time to ask while in a class or tour – great for follow upquestions.

Cancellation Policy
Refund Policy: Only written request submitted 10 days prior to the beginning of a class are accepted. A refund will be processed minus a $15.00 processing fee. Verbal request are not accepted. If a scheduled class is missed there are no "make up" classes allowed.
