Four consecutive weeks. A certified childbirth instructor prepares expectant mothers and their partners for birth, including the normal labor and delivery process, relaxation and breathing techniques, the partner's role, hospital procedures, anesthesia options, postpartum, and early parenting.
Include Birth Center Tour.
Please note a maximum of 2 people per registration for Alta Bates classes.
What to Bring
Bring: One pillow and we recommend you wear comfortable pants.
Parking Instructions
Parking is available in the Ashby Garage across the street from the hospital. Garage entrance location is on Colby Ave. between Webster St. and Ashby Ave.
Please feel free to ask security about validated parking or choose to find street parking.
