MMC-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Recertification

This course will cover early recognition of pre-arrest states and prevention of cardiopulmonary arrest. Lecture and demonstration will teach relevant priorities and techniques to effectively intervene in pediatric resuscitation.

PREWORK

It is an AHA requirement that you are prepared and have completed the PALS text and Pre-Course Assessment prior to the course and bring the materials with you to class.

You must complete the pre-course assessment and BRING IT WITH YOU, or you won’t be admitted into the class. You may access Pre-Course Assessment via the Internet at the AHA Student Website: www.eLearning.heart.org.

Sign in or Register using the upper right hand corner prompt. Click on ‘Courses’ located on upper left-hand corner of webpage.

Select PALS and choose following option: “PALS Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work,” followed by Launch this Course.

Once course loads, please complete it and bring proof of completion with you to class. Note: a passcode is no longer needed

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

Class rescheduling or cancellation with request for refund must occur at least 5 days prior to class. All refunds will be processed, minus a $15.00 processing fee.

If the class cancellation request is less than 5 days prior to class, a refund is not available.
