THIS CLASS IS OPEN TO SUTTER HEALTH EMPLOYEES ONLY
Once you have registered on the Sutter Health site for the class you will then receive a registration email from the ENA. Click on the link within the ENA email to create an ENA account. You are required to also register for your course on the ENA site. Double registration is necessary to receive subsequent course material.
Once registered on the ENA site, you will receive another email with a link to complete your pre-course online modules. These modules are required to be completed prior to the first day of class.
Issues with Online Access: ENA advises that they do not support Internet Explorer. Consider using another browser such as Internet Chrome or Firefox.
REQUIRED: Print a copy or take a photo of the pre-course completion certificate with you to the instructor-led class. You will NOT be admitted to the class if you have not completed these modules. NOTE: These modules generally require several hours to complete so allow yourself plenty of time prior to class.
Please arrive on time or you will not be admitted to class. The instructor-led class which includes skills practice and verification. This class is conducted over 12 hours (one and a half days) and you are required to attend both days. You must pass the hands-on skills test with at least 70% (no more than 2 attempts).
After passing the instructor led portion, you will receive an email giving you access to the online exam. You must access and complete the exam within 7 days of the instructor-led course. To pass, you must score at least 80% (no more than 2 attempts). Be aware that you must complete the exam in one sitting, within a 2-hour time frame. Scoring will occur as soon as 2 hours has elapsed (auto shut down); OR if you close the exam window at any time; OR when you click the SUBMIT button.
Upon completion of the exam you will follow a number of steps to download your provider card and retrieve your CE certificate.
CE certificates will be available to you on the ENA site after completion of the online exam and course evaluation.
Your provider card should be printed out and a copy given to your manager. Note: Training sites are unable to access completed ENA provider cards.
The TNCC provider course conducted over a two day period offers competency based trauma knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with the delivery of professional nursing care to the trauma patient. Pre-Course online modules are required and must be completed prior to class. The Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. The student should obtain provider book 30-45 days prior to class date in Education Department, 1700 McHenry Ave., Suite 60B, Modesto CA 95350. Call (209) 548-7880 for any questions.
What to Bring
Obtain 8th edition TNCC Book: The expectation is that you will review the material prior to class.

MMC, SGMF, MHLB Employees: MMC will continue to provide libraried books to pick up 30 days in advance at McHenry.
Class rescheduling or cancellation with request for refund must occur at least 5 days prior to class. All refunds will be processed, minus a $15.00 processing fee.
If the class cancellation request is less than 5 days prior to class, a refund is not available.
