The end of cancer treatment, while cause for relief, can also create great anxiety about one's future. There are the big questions to contemplate: "What's next?" and "How do I do this?" "How do I figure this out?" "Who will help me?"
Our "Moving On" group provides opportunities to talk, to learn, to be heard and to share with others who are on the same path. Some folks have been moving on for some time and some are just beginning. Books, selected by the group, offer a focus for meetings. This is a dynamic group that actively looks not only at cancer survivorship, but what it means to thrive in all aspects of our lives. Moving on is about discovery, so come with ideas to share and willingness learn.
New participants are always welcome at any meeting. You do not have to have completed (or even started) the book to come!
This group is free. You do not need to be a part of Sutter to attend.
2nd & 4th Thursday of each month from 5:00-6:30 pm.
