Dr. Ho is a transplant hepatologist and Medical Director of Clinical Systems Innovation at California Pacific Medical Center. She is also the Chief Innovaiton Officer for the Sutter West Bay Medical Group Advanced Organ Therapies service line.
Her areas of interest include research on access to specialty care, use of health information technology and health informatics, management and prevention of end-stage liver disease, transplant hepatology, colorectal cancer prevention, electronic referral/communication between primary care providers and subspecialists, and healthcare quality improvement.
Dr. Ho sits on the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD) Practice Metrics Committee. She has spoken at numerous national and regional conferences and served as both a grant and publication reviewer.
She graduated cum laude from Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a masters in African American Studies before attending medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Subsequently, she earned a masters in public health at the University of California, Berkeley, and a fellowship in gastroenterology as well as a fellowship in advanced transplant hepatology at the University of California, San Francisco. In 2013, she became an AASLD Advanced/Transplant Hepatology Fellow.
Dr. Ho speaks Taiwanese and conversational Mandarin.
