7 Floors, 120 Beds, 16 ED Treatment Rooms, 16 Ante/Post Partum Rooms, 10 Adult ICU Rooms, 7 Imaging Rooms
Sutter Health's CPMC has opened two new smart, safe and green campuses, catalyzed by California state mandate requiring hospitals to meet stricter earthquake safety standards by 2020. The former St. Luke’s Campus is now the Mission Bernal Campus at Valencia and Cesar Chavez streets — which opened on August 25, 2018. The brand new Van Ness campus opened on March 2, 2019.
This Mission Bernal site is flat and utilizes a standard earthquake system called “buckling brace frames.” The 7-story, acute care facility provides 120 beds and features an expanded emergency department, expanded obstetrics, after-hours pediatric care and other clinical services.
The Campaign for CPMC
CPMC Foundation invites your visionary philanthropic partnership to change the future of healthcare in our community. Naming Opportunities are available to provide our philanthropic partners with visible ways to be recognized or honor loved ones. 100% of your philanthropic investment goes directly to the CPMC program that most inspires you.
More than a decade ago we saw that the city was changing and areas like the Mission and Bernal would benefit from new investment in local healthcare. And now our new Mission Bernal Campus fills that role, providing our patients with the latest technology and excellent care in a facility that is truly beautiful and inspiring.
