Learn the logistics of liver transplantation, including donor selection, organ allocation and transplant immunology as you work side-by-side with renowned clinician mentors.  Clinical experience is the core of our program. It includes a five-month rotation in Inpatient Hepatology, where you’ll manage acute liver disease and transplant complications in both the ward and ICU settings. In our Outpatient Hepatology Clinics, you’ll focus on treating diseases, including viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease and liver cancer. A weekly Transplant Continuity Clinic will give you experience managing post-transplant care, immunosuppression and transplant complications, ensuring you’re well-prepared for independent practice.
