Obstetrics and Gynecology residents will rotate through a wide range of general and subspecialty-based experiences, primarily based at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center (ABSMC). Residents receive clinical training through bedside teaching, small group discussions, and daily conferences.

## PGY1

-   Obstetrics: 3 months
-   Gynecology: 3 months
-   Family Planning: 1 month
-   Gynecologic Oncology: 1 month
-   Ultrasound: 1 month
-   Internal Medicine: 1 month
-   Emergency Department: 1 month
-   Ambulatory: 1 month  
     

## PGY2

-   Obstetrics: 3 months
-   Gynecology: 2 months
-   Family Planning: 1 month
-   Gynecologic Oncology: 1 month
-   Urogynecology: 1 month
-   Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility: 1 month
-   Maternal Fetal Medicine: 1 month
-   Research/Elective: 1 month
-   Night Float: 1 month

## PGY3

-   Obstetrics: 3 months
-   Gynecology: 2 months
-   Gynecologic Oncology: 1 month
-   Urogynecology: 1 month
-   Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility: 1 month
-   Maternal Fetal Medicine: 2 months
-   Research/Elective: 1 month
-   Night Float: 1 month

## PGY4

-   Obstetrics: 3 months
-   Gynecology: 2 months
-   Gynecologic Oncology: 2 months
-   Urogynecology: 1 month
-   Maternal Fetal Medicine: 1 month
-   Research/Elective: 1 month
-   Night Float: 1 month
-   Ambulatory: 1 month
