From the start, residents have the opportunity to mentor and supervise third- and fourth-year medical students, helping build their acumen as clinician-educators. As appropriate to the clinical setting, residents also receive caseload supervision, expert psychotherapy supervision, and child psychiatry supervision. In the outpatient clinic, they work closely with faculty preceptors who hold “educational huddles” twice a day to enhance learning from the clinical material.
