hospitalist\nor a specialist.\nDANIEL JUREWITZ: Sutter Roseville Medical Center\nis very centrally located in this suburban region\nnorth of Sacramento.\nThere are approximately 700,000 local residents.\nAnd the coverage area of the Medical Center\nextends as far north as the Oregon border and as far east\nas the Nevada border.\nVAN GESLANI: It's a perfect location\nfor outdoor activities, close access to places like Tahoe\nin the Sierra Nevada mountains.\nWe're close to the Bay Area.\nAnd even Sacramento, as a bigger city, has lots of things to do.\nIf you have a young family, the school systems are excellent.\nDANIEL JUREWITZ: As a community hospital,\nthe services offered here are quite comprehensive.\nWe have an accredited stroke center.\nWe're a level II trauma center.\nWe have a 24-hour cath lab.\nThe lion's share of our rotations\nare going to be housed right here on our 57-acre campus.\nVAN GESLANI: So our hospital is large enough\nto provide the tertiary level care that you\nwould get at a referral center.\nBut at the same time, our hospital\nis small enough and close-knit enough\nthat we all know each other by our first name.\nRISHI MENON: We get along very well.\nWe're constantly discussing new and innovative things.\nWe're collaborative.\nWe enjoy being around each other.\nI get excited every time I see any of the subspecialists\nor internal medicine doctors.\nIt's wonderful.\nWe're very diverse.\nWe have physicians from all over the country.\nWe have physicians from all over the world.\nAnd that's extremely important to me\nbecause that's how we get new ideas\nand make sure we're seeing our patients for who they are.\nEveryone here is really committed\nto wellness and understanding that\nto be a good person, to be a good doctor,\nyou have to take care of yourself.\nVAN GESLANI: I have experience in different aspects\nof graduate medical education, as a chief resident,\na core faculty member, and as an associate program director.\nAnd I
