**What is the program’s overall philosophy?** 

The Sutter Roseville Medical Center Neurology Residency Program is committed to providing a rich academic and clinical learning environment designed to prepare residents for success in advanced training and future careers in neurology. We seek to cultivate the next generation of neurology innovators—physicians who lead with clinical excellence, curiosity, and compassion.

**How many residents are in the program?**

The program will host a total of 12 residents, with 3 residents accepted per year into this four-year neurology residency.

**How do I apply for the program?**

Applications for the Neurology residency must be submitted through the [Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)](https://students-residents.aamc.org/applying-residencies-eras/applying-residencies-eras "Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)"). Interviews are offered by invitation only.

**Which subspecialties are available in the program?** 

We have robust subspecialty expertise including general neurology, stroke, neurocritical care, epilepsy, pediatric neurology, neuromuscular, movement disorders, memory disorders, headache, neuro-immunology, psychiatry, neuroradiology, and neuro-interventional radiology. 

**Do you sponsor visas for international students?** 

Currently, we do not sponsor J1, H1B, or other types of visas.
