The Sutter Roseville Medical Center (SRMC) Transitional Year Residency Program is dedicated to promoting a learning environment that prepares future physicians to provide high quality medical care. Repeatedly recognized as one of the [top hospitals in California](https://health.usnews.com/best-hospitals/area/ca/sutter-roseville-medical-center-6932645 "top hospitals in California"), Sutter Roseville’s 418-bed medical center serves 10 counties in the greater Sacramento area and offers a full range of healthcare services. It’s home to a Level II trauma center, a Level III NICU, the Sutter Rehabilitation Institute and a Joint Commission-recognized Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center. In 2020, a carefully designed, patient-focused 98,000 square-foot expansion opened to meet the growing needs of Roseville and nearby communities. ### The Sutter Health System Sutter Roseville Medical Center is part of the [award-winning Sutter Health integrated System of care](https://www.sutterhealth.org/about-us/awards).
