Your medical school will issue you a token to register on ERAS. [Apply With ERAS](https://students-residents.aamc.org/applying-residencies-eras/apply-residencies-eras-system "Apply With ERAS") ### International Students International medical graduate applicants also use ERAS through the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates). We are not able to sponsor visas at this time. We’ll consider your application for an interview once we receive the following materials: - Dean’s Letter - ECFMG Certificate (IMGs) - ERAS application - Letters of recommendation (at least two) - Official transcript - Personal statement - USMLE or COMLEX Step I Score ## Acceptance Criteria Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for our family medicine residency program: - **USMLE and COMLEX Passing Grades:** All applicants must have a passing score on USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX Level 1. We require a passing USMLE Step 2 CK or a COMLEX Level 2 score for final evaluation and ranking, but it’s not required for an interview. - **Medical school graduate:** All applicants must have graduated from medical school within the last five years or have at least two years of experience in regular clinical practice. - **Clinical experience:** A minimum of one year of U.S. clinical experience is required. U.S.-based medical school rotations count toward this requirement. If we offer you an interview, you’ll receive an invitation through Thalamus. Interviews are held Monday through Friday, from early November through late December. We encourage couples or partners to apply, and we’ll do our best to support your scheduling needs. Please note: We don’t currently sponsor J-1, H-1B, or other visa types.
