Hana Grobel, M.D.

I became a family doctor because I enjoy working with people of all ages and stages of life—including newborns, children and adolescents, pregnant women, and adults. What makes family medicine so special to me is treating individuals and whole families together as they transition through their lives. One of my greatest joys is seeing children, watching them grow into teenagers and then helping them into adulthood. Being a mother myself has given me a deeper understanding of children and their development as well as the worries and decisions of being a parent. My passion in medicine also includes integrative and holistic medicine. I believe our bodies have incredible innate abilities to heal and my job is to help direct that process.

I focus on prevention and lifestyle changes first, yet continue to use medicines and other interventions when necessary. I find that the best outcomes happen when patients take their health into their own hands and work hard to change negative patterns in their lives. I have always been intrigued by the mind/body connection and studied psychology at Amherst College.

I practice and teach meditation, and am a certified yoga teacher to bring patients a different perspective in medicine. My goal is to help each person find his/her path to a healthy and happy lifestyle. I look forward to partnering with you in your health care.
