Philosophy of Care
During my 17 years of practicing medicine, I’ve learned that making a connection with my patients is key to improving their health. My journey to the world of medicine began as a child watching my father, who was also a physician. He enjoyed his work tremendously and spoke with such enthusiasm about not only the science of medicine but practicing in the spirit of service. I have carried these themes into my own practice by taking time to listen and to address patient's needs. I enjoy explaining concepts so that together we can partner in improving your health. I love my job!
I attended UC Irvine and the desire to serve and investigate grew even more. I graduated from Northwestern Medical School in 1993 and completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern as well. I met my wonderful husband in Chicago and moved to Northern California to start my career. We have two beautiful children who we love. They are both tremendous athletes, so yes, I am a soccer mom! I look forward to meeting you. I am offering selected Saturday appointments from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for patients with busy schedules during the week.
