Coming from a family of public educators, I feel that patients thrive in their medical care when they are educated and take an active role as a team member in their own treatment. Working as a team with my patients, staff and other medical specialties seems to provide the best outcome for my patients. I really enjoy the personal relationships that develop between me and my patient when we work together to improve care.
