Philosophy of Care
Rebecca L Taub, MD, MPH is a board-certified Ob-Gyn in Berkeley and Richmond with subspecialty training in Complex Family Planning. She believes in providing compassionate, evidence-based care and is passionate about educating people about reproductive health.
Dr. Taub cares for people with a variety of obstetric and gynecologic concerns including irregular or painful periods, fibroids, endometriosis, irregular bleeding, ovarian cysts, abnormal pap smears, early pregnancy loss, high-risk pregnancy, and unplanned pregnancy. She performs a wide range of gynecologic surgical procedures including minimally invasive hysteroscopic and laparoscopic techniques. In particular, she is an expert in complex contraception and abortion including difficult cases and high-risk issues.
Additionally, Dr. Taub specializes in gynecologic care for transmasculine and gender non-conforming patients including both routine and transition-related gynecologic issues, as well as minimally-invasive hysterectomy for gender affirmation.
