I aim to provide high-quality care to my patients in a personal manner. I spend whatever time as it takes to understand their particular issues. I will try to look at different aspects of a patient's life that may affect their condition—sleep, stress, diet, etc. I hope to engage my patients in discussions about their care and provide an opportunity for them to share in the decision-making process. I consider the physician/patient relationship a partnership. I encourage phone calls in between visits to let me know how things are going. I like explaining what is going on and talking about medical conditions in easy-to-understand ways. I enjoy answering questions from my patients because I believe that the more patients understand, the better able they are to care for themselves. As a mom myself, I try to understand variations in normal development and try to include the day to day parenting issues in our visits.
