My interest in practicing medicine has grown gradually since then. I was intrigued by the challenges of medicine and motivated by the opportunities to make a real difference in people's lives. I practiced in Oregon as an internist for four years and gained a tremendous amount of knowledge in patient care. In 2001 I relocated to the Bay area after I got married. As an internist practicing primary care, I am a strong advocate of healthy living and preventive care. These are the best ways to stay healthy. As a woman, I am particularly interested in women's health. I also provide compassionate and comprehensive medical care for people with chronic medical conditions. I enjoy talking to patients to learn more about their family, their hopes and their dreams.
